Time for a Check up?
As 2008 comes to a close it is naturally a time of reflection, a time to look back on our successes
and challenges, as we look forward to a new year. I am certain for many, it has been a year of wonderful
blessings, additions, and losses in your families, changes in jobs, as well as the realization we are living in changing times.
As we look
forward in anticipation to a year of new beginnings, It is important to identify the things in our lives that mean the most.
For many it will be a year of changes in family dynamics. A year of looking beyond ourselves to
the needs of those we care for. For many it will be the realization that additional care is needed and
the obvious question of how will we pay for it? We all know the importance of a wellness check up to insure our health and proper
care but when was the last time you had a financial check up?
With so many of us wondering if we will be able to retire as planned, able to maintain
our current standard of living, and whether or not we can afford the care we so desire for our loved ones, there is no better
time than the present to address our financial health.
Changes to your financial health are certain. Whether the change
is due to the economy, job loss, health changes, or family structure, there are some things we can do to prepare ourselves.
- Identify your Income sources
- Review your outflows
- Review
your legal documents
- Review our portfolio with your advisor
- Make an appointment for a financial checkup
Awareness of our overall financial health
brings peace of mind that we are doing all we can for ourselves and the ones we love.
